This is the UK’s only quality assurance scheme for reliable, high-quality wood fuels. The use of ‘Ready to Burn’ wood in place of wet wood fuel has been proven to reduce the levels of particulates released to the atmosphere and therefore improve air quality. Modern stoves are designed to burn dry wood.

At The Dry Log Company we sell only superior burning product. An easy light and toasty fire is something we can consistently guarantee. At The DLC we sell perfectly dried logs ready for burning. Kiln dried on our family farm all year round, we cut, split and prepare all our logs, removing redundant moisture from the wood and thus generating greater heat output; proving better fuel efficiency and in turn being more economical. Not to mention causing minimum stove and flue problems.
Consumers are increasingly turning to sustainable firewood in the search for environmentally friendly energy resources. At The DLC we are very proud that each of our kilns are powered through renewable energy. We source only locally recycled wood to fire our biomass boilers which in turn heat our kilns.
Unlike fossil fuels, wood fuel is a totally renewable resource; we source our wood from FSC approved reputable suppliers. Our suppliers ensure highest standards of woodland and forest management where trees are grown, harvested and replanted for sustainable production. Burning wood as fuel has a significantly lower carbon footprint than burning fossil fuels.
